I have acquired my studies from undergraduate to till Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. I could pursue various internship projects at IIT Madras, Pondicherry University, and IISc Bangalore. I have research work experiences in both structural bioinformatics and genomics. I have received DBT- Bioinformatics National Certification (BINC) JRF and SRF Fellowship for my Ph.D. My research topic is on plant-pathogen interaction between Arachis hypogaea and Aspergillus flavus to understand the host defense mechanism against pathogen through computational methods. During my Ph.D. tenure, she has gained expertise in computational genomics and have proficiency in handling next generation sequencing data. I was able to publish two publications and one manuscript under revision in reputed journals was able to co-author research works along with the team members. Apart from this, I was able to present her reach work in two international conferences such as First Indian Plant Science Congress, 2019 and 1st IBSE International Symposium and NGS workshop, 2017. She has also obtained training in computational systems biology organized by AICTE and “Algorithms and methods for Biological data” organized by Gian. Further, in regard to teaching, I have handled M.Sc students in bioinformatics laboratory curriculum and projects successfully for two years (2018, 2019).
