C can be considered the "Parent" of many programming languages we know today (e.g., Python implementation in C :-D) and many Operating System kernels are build using C (e.g., Linux :-D). So understanding C provides you with a great deal of comprehension and skills that will permit you to understand these technologies.
In this course, I will introduce C, it's fundamentals and dive into intermediate concepts like expressions, selective statements, iterative statements, basic types, arrays and functions. Then we will look at advance concepts like pointers, arrays and pointers, the preprocessor, writing large programs, and more.
A lot (like really a lot) of hands-on so that you can familiarize yourself with the language, it's syntax and other aspects.

Linux is one of the most popular OS that powers servers all over the world. It is so versatile that it is also used in embedded systems, mobile phones, desktops and more.
In this course, we will dive into using the Linux OS as a system administrator, and not a user. We will learn about the history of Linux, text editors in Linux, Basic shell features, managing users and groups (Linux is a multi-user OS), managing files and directories, ownership and permissions, processes in Linux, storage in Linux and many more.
There will be hands-on so that you can get acquainted with the various commands on the terminal.
