Shubharaagam follows a structured syllabus based on traditional carnatic music texts and prepare the students for certified yearly exams. However the requirements of the students are considered while planning the classes based on their individual interests and capabilities which has worked well so far for solo sessions.
To motivate the young learners some popular bhajans and songs are included as part of the curriculum which also prepares them to perform in groups during Shubharaagam Annual Day event . Public performance opportunities are given once they attain certain standards in their renditions.
