Hi! My name is Maria. My main field is Mathematics.

Many things makes me a great teacher:

1) My special order when teaching topics. The order in which we do anything makes a difference. For example, many math books and syllabuses arranges math based on topics. I cut up the entire syllabus and rearrange it in a order which makes it easier for anybody to see the link from one topic to another.
2) I use various techniques which help to stimulate students' minds so that they can learn very quickly. For example, I employ the use of flash cards, speedwriting exercises, songs and other mental stimulation techniques in order to help students learn faster while enjoying the experience.
3) My focus is unique. I have an ardent desire to help students successfully pass their examination in the quickest possible time while enjoying the experience

My mission statement is:

“To help all students to be successful in their math examinations, in the quickest possible time, while enjoying their experience.””

My fastest student thus far was a girl named Karina. She was able to obtain her distinction in just 16 weeks. I taught her once for the week. Each class ran for 2 hours.

To me teaching is not is about helping other people. It is not about me and what I want. It is about dreams or ambitions. It is about the future that students can have by succeeding and doing the things necessary to trek across the valley that they want to cross. I am not selling a product or a service. I am offering a future. The specific future which I want my students to have.

    TT$130–200/hour (US$19.15–29.46/hour)

    Group sessions 80 TTD/ hour

    Additional math:
    one-on-one additional math home visit (250 TTD per hour)
    one-on-one additional math virtual classes (170 TTD per hour)
    virtual additional math group classes (100 TTD per hour)
