I am a phonics teacher who is passionate about making a difference and who is committed to high standards of achievement, inclusion and pastoral care. I help guide and assist in improving the reading and writing skills of scholars. My goal is to help beginning readers understand how letters are linked to sound (phonemes) to form a letter - sound correspondences and spelling patterns and to help scholars learn how to apply this knowledge in their reading and improving the scholars communication skills. At the end, I hope to see my scholars improving in their writing, reading and communication skills fluently.
