I am by name Umar Muhammad, I always adopt teacher and student relationship with discussion and demonstration methods frequently while teaching, a times assignment and homework stand as a class wing to keep student reading while off class.
However, with the above student as a beginner would be able to read Arabic text in three months, cover the recitation of the holy Qur'an in one year. The intermediate student however, would be able to Memorize Qur'an in at least three to four years Insha Allah. For expert, one part of Qur'anic would be very vibrant on it i.e Tajweed.
Lastly, time is always respected, joking, playing and any sort of distraction is not welcomed in my class and that's what make me great. Alhamdulillah
