About my Life Skills Coaching

I am a seasoned life skills coach and enable my mentees comprehend the importance of setting goals aligned with their values. A man without goals is a ship without a captain. It will not have somebody to steer it across the stormy seas if the captain is not there. Goals can only be accomplished by setting some systems or habits. Habits can be set in place by taking small consistent actions everyday. Every day you repeat a behaviour, it gets lodged as a strong behaviour in your subconscious mind. Once the behaviour has been repeated often enough, it attains automaticity in the brain. It has now become a habit.

It is a myth that it takes 3 weeks to form a habit. It takes much longer and there are several techniques to be used like habit stacking and not breaking a twice consecutively etc. Otherwise a wrong habit starts to form. I have worked with several mentees and students to guide them, handhold them, help them when they were trailing off, enable them to get back on track and speed up their progress with hacks and effective tools.

Life skills coaching has become the need of the hour if we have to have our students and CEOs create a future that aligns with their values and long term vision. No pain. No gain. But a mentor helps you because he/ she has been there and done that. By virtue of that they will collapse time for you. What you will do all by yourself in 3 years, they will help you accomplish in 3 months.

With certain crucial habits in place, you will have spare reserves of mental energy to make critical life decisions. Time and energy are finite resources. They have to be managed very well. There is a science to making habits automatic. Not only will I guide you and handhold you, I will be your accountability partner and help you get closer to your long-term vision and goals.

I work as a steel claw with velvet gloves. I will be firm yet make you feel at home. Together we shall get you across the shore in record time. The process will be fun and a learning experience I promise.

About My Creative Writing Classes

My teaching style invokes the latent curiosity of students and directs it towards creative expression. I like to expose them to distinct writing narratives that spark off several ideas in their minds. I am negotiable on the pricing and the lessons, with my objective being to impart maximum value to the student. I am patient and take up their concerns peacefully, and ensure that they enjoy their time writing with me. I hone their writing skills with my unique approach and help them discover their signature style of writing. I teach engaging methods of storytelling and paragraph writing so that their words transport the reader to the scenes they describe in their paragraphs. I have taught students from Singapore, the US, the UK, Hong Kong and Melbourne, and I attempt to leave my students more enthusiastic about their writing goals, than when they first met me. I have had poems and articles published in literary journals and reputed online blogs. I like to impart all of my learnings and methods to my students.

    I get intellectually stimulated by coaxing the dormant writing muscle in my students to the surface. The joy that I see on my student's face when I'm able to flex their writing faculty, eggs me on to become better at my craft. My poetry has been published in reputed journals of India. My creative non-fiction articles have been published online, and I love teaching my students how to write. Creative writing is a very important skill in today's time. It needs to be developed as it is something that is used in all realms of life. Could be a mundane chore like writing a mail or plotting a story for one's book, each and every child needs to be able to write in a way that is effective, convincing and be able to share their worldview with the reader.
