As a teacher, I strongly believe that students can develop their competencies when properly guided and advised. Each student is unique and has the potential to excel provided they are given the opportunities and the right support to work on their tasks.

Majority of the nursing students I have taught are successful clinicians, educators and practitioner themselves. Through my teaching, many have become nurses and nurse educators like me.

While teaching-learning is a two-way process, a teacher's lead and tutelage create great impact on his/her students’ outcomes and success.
