Swakshadip SarkarPhD student and Teaching Assistant in Sociology
No reviews yet
Swakshadip, a PhD student at the Victoria University of Wellington has teaching and mentoring experience in Sociology and Social Sciences Research for two years in different capacities. Swakshadip currently teaches Level 1 students at the Victoria University of Wellington where they teach theoretical and applied Sociology. Swakshadip pays attention to each and every student and is always ready to help. They believe that many students are intimidated by the daunting quantity and quality of the syllabus. A part of their job is to reduce that intimidation by breaking down the syllabus and teaching them everything in detail. They take their time to carefully explain and break down content in a way that is understandable. They focus on building concepts over rot learning. Swakshadip is an expert at helping students with their doubts and questions and is always easily approachable. Their bubbly personality and quick/comfortable rapport with their students allow them to feel comfortable asking for help and understanding the content. Swakshadip has always loved working with students and looks forward to all of their 'Aha!' moments. Tutoring is something they would like to continue to do outside of their regular research and teaching positions.
