I prefer a learner centered teaching approach whereby I'll introduce a concept at a time and quide the trainee on a step by step basis on how to attain mastery of the concept introduced within the time frame allocated. From experience, I have learned to be very patient with learners because of their different academic abilities and I tend to give individualised attention to each learner to enable them all to attain the requisite skill or the concept being taught by the end of the lesson. Individualised attention, make the learner to develop a liking for the unit being taught and eventually the results are positive.
