I believe the best teachers are those that create an air of freedom for their students around them. Those that can inspire their students not only to learn material, but also to be better persons and connect with their students not just on an employee-employer basis, but also on a very humanly level. By inspiring tranparency, respect, understanding, sharing stories and successes, and last but not the least, developing trust between each other. I believe that teaching like any other form of socialisation, requires an infallible understanding between two parties, without any of the parties feeling being held back mentally or emotionally That's why I employ a means of teaching whereby I look not to brutally impart all material unto the student, but to create an avenue where the student feels they can share any grievances they have concerning any matters pertaining to the subject or otherwise. I have come to realise that once teaching is viewed as just a job, and a means to survival, people will go about it in a way to just make ends meet. But when it is seen in the light of being a way of sharing a part of us, and that anything we do or say in the process will have a major influence on the world, we will come to see teaching not just as a job, but also as a vital, if not the most vital, part of human evolution and existence.
