I can teach all subjects to grade school students in a simplified way that are easily understandable and appropriate to their age levels. For high school students, they say that I explained science and math concepts very clearly and they are not hesitant to ask any questions about things that they don't understand. I'm very patient with my students and I don't charge extra fees even if we go beyond the agreed time. It's my way of paying forward because other people helped me too. I used the student's own experiences as examples or springboard in order for them to learn easier. I always start with what they already know and build up from there. I made sure to interconnect their previous and present knowledge in order to tie things up and present the big picture by relating the present topic to real world applications, especially those related to technology. My years of experience made me easily detect where students' difficulties are coming from: prerequisites were not satisfied. I will help them with this together with building their confidence until they can stand on their own. Only then can I say that I succeeded in teaching my students.
