As mention in my profile i have been teaching Violin and Vocals for more than 30yrs. My students age group ranges between 6years and 45+ years. Hence, age is not a criteria to learn any skill.
My pedagogy involves learning music through music notations and also help students with ear training, which helps them to learn melodies or songs just by listening and also be creative to compose music or songs. Hence my classes are designed as per student's need and orientation. So I look for students who wants to build up their skill, enjoy music, perform and if needed, give exams.
Exams are offered from Trinity College of Music, London, ABRSM, LCM and RSL.

Experience

  • Director (Mar, 2019–Present) at Vocalin Academy of Music Bangalore
    I conduct group and one on one lessons for western Violin and Vocals(singing). Due to covid my classes are being conducted online via zoom, google meet and whatsapp. Students range between the age group of 6yrs to 50+ years.
  • MUSIC HOD (Jul, 2009–May, 2018) at Symbiosis International School
    Head of the Music department.
    Designing and planning the units for each class from IB PYP(primary section) to the Diploma Level.(Grade 12).
    Training new teachers to conduct their classes.
    Training students in group and one on one format teaching.
  • Assistant Music Teacher (Jul, 2002–Feb, 2009) at Hutchings high school
    My role was to train students in choir work and also to train them as soloists for school events.
    Preparing students for special class assemblies, training them for competitions and choir festivals.
