Dance has been a part of my life for the past 15 years. It has been my tranquility and has never failed to pick me up and put me on my feet at times of doubt. My interest for dancing was initially elevated by my parents but later, understanding and learning it further has helped me to nurture that interest from within. It has greatly improved my mental and physical health along with an increase of self respect and discipline.

Shastriya Nritya is my primary dance form. I have done my debut (Arangettam) in 4 out of 9 Shastriya Nritya dance forms, namely, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam. I also perform and teach Bollywood dance along with South Indian folk dance.

My achievements are:

• Bagged First position in Spot Choreography conducted by Mazhavil Manorama 'Minnaminni Kootam'
•Achieved A grade in Folk Dance at ISC meet School Kalolsavam
•Acquired First prize in Bharatanatyam at School Arts Fest

Currently preparing for Folk dance administered at University Kalolsavam (University Arts Fest).

I have been imparting my skills to students, varying in different age groups, in Folk Dance, Bharatanatyam and Bollywood Dance for the past 7 years, which have aided me to deepen my understanding in various art forms and has enabled me in improving my teaching capacity.
