Hi. I'm Sameera (Zoya Ihsan- instagram) I am an alumi of Whistling Woods International, Department of Music composition and production, currently freelancing as a singer-songwriter and composer for independent music projects in India. I am currently doing my masters in music performance from Martin Luther Christian University from Shillong. I have done my trinity grades from rock and pop vocals and currently also training in carnatic. I have 5 years of training in Hindustani vocals apart from this. Learning bits of these vocal styles has helped me gain perspectives and techniques. I have also done certification course in "voice gym" in Shankar Mahadevan Academy Additional to that, I write and compose my own songs too.
Vocal classes for kids aged 4-12
For now, I have designed this course for kids aged 4- 12 years who are just starting out with music. The first step to teach kids music is to gain their attention and make it interesting for them. I have contained 6 modules, containing voice gym and western vocal exercises and songs.
"Voice gym" For beginner adults :
For anyone beginning to learn vocal, It is very important to teach beginners the right singing technique. This contains the basics of voice gym following songs that support the lesson covered. This contains 3 parts of vocal lessons. So at the end of the course, students get an idea of how to learn to breath and sing the right way, sing in pitch and rhythm, emote, perform and singing with dynamics, etc.
