Adapt various teaching methods and resources to meet student needs and facilitate active learning.
Develops scope and squeence, lesson plans, powerpoints, worksheets, PYP and EYP unit of Inquiry
with grade level team members and PYP coordinator.
Proficient with various Edtech tools used in teaching and learning such as Zoom, Google meet,
Toddle, ManageBac, Gradebook and Smartboard
Managing student behaviour by esablishing and enforcing the essential agreement set by them.
Maintains and keep complete and accurate records of each student academic progress.
Discuss assigned duties and tasks with the grade level Homeroom Facilitator on a daily/weekly basis
in order to coordinate instructional efforts
Assist grade level Homeroom Facilitator in preparing resources (physical and/or digital) for in school
and for virtual/blended learning
Plan, Prepare, and put up classroom displays, set up, exhibitions, play activities, resources and
demonstrations both in school and for virtual/blended learning
Support, guide and assist children individually or in small groups in order to help those understand
assignments, tasks, learning engagements and to reinforce conceptual understandings, as well as
skills development
Kept and maintain anecdotal records, written observations and other approved forms of
documentation, as well as recording relevant data to track, monitor, report, and assess student’s
progress, ensuring personalized learning.
Taking attendance and in providing constructive feedback to students in all
learning activities, engagements, alternative and authentic assessments
Actively participate in continuous professional development initiatives by the HOS / PYPC, such as
online or face to face training and workshops, in order to meet the requirements set by IB
requirements.
