I have been associated with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management for last twenty eight years during my industrial and academic experience. My foundation in Industrial Engineering and Management was further strengthened when I started teaching to the Master of Management Studies. I have attended various faculty development programmes from premier institution which gave me an insight into many allied areas of Industrial Engineering. In all of the preceding service activities, ‘what I learned’; has helped me to improve my classroom teaching. My goal as a teacher is to ignite in my learners a passion to create an organizational teaching and learning environment that fosters a bushfire of educational experimentation and innovation.

The field of Industrial Engineering is an integral part of life as we know it. Advances in technology over centuries have enabled the transformation of human civilization from an elementary existence to the contemporary one we enjoy in the 21st century. One can only imagine the level of sophistication life will achieve in the future and bring to the forefront the importance of continuous research and development in this field. As a teacher and researcher of Industrial Engineering, I have the privilege of being a part of serious community of scholars across the globe. This has given me a platform for interacting and exchanging my ideas and assisted me in expanding my knowledge base. I am fortunate that my area of research ‘Productivity Improvement of MSEs’ provide my students particularly well to my teaching.

So I see to exchange my experinece and knowledge by virtually connecting with the students around the world. This will further help me widen my knowledge horizon to the international learners.
