Hello learners of TeacherOn! I am Anne Kristel Mae B. Castro I am from the Philippines. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in Early Childhood and Special Education. I graduated cum laude at Ateneo de Naga University. I am also a licensed professional teacher and have also undergone ESL training at Clairvoyance Academy.
I can definitely teach both English and Filipino subjects. Additionally, I specialize in teaching children how to read. So far, I have worked with students aged 4 to 6, focusing on reading and comprehension skills. I am also teaching high school students. I am very friendly, patient, enthusiastic and caring person and I love talking to people from all walks of life.

I have many years of experience in teaching, especially that there are different types of learners who learn at various paces and in different ways. Regarding my teaching style, I tailor it to the proficiency level of my students. For beginners, I incorporate pictures, songs, or simple poems with the use of basic vocabulary to ensure they can follow and understand. For intermediate students, I focus on reading, writing, and speaking to boost their confidence levels. With advanced students, I take on a more active listening role, noting areas for improvement and providing feedback to help them further enhance their skills. I'm eager to meet you and can't wait to embark on a fun and exciting learning journey together!
