Matias SNative Spanish Tutor from Argentina
No reviews yet
Hi, I'm Matías! A writer, musician, astrologer, and pizza lover from Buenos Aires. Recently moved to a small town in Córdoba with my family, I'm here to help you understand and appreciate the Spanish language in its natural habitat.
As a full-time language tutor, I've been guiding students of all levels through the maze of Spanish since 2014. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your fluency and pronunciation, I'm comfortable teaching both teenagers and adults.
My approach is relaxed and I don't believe in the traditional "teacher knows best" format. Instead, I strive to provide clear explanations and guidance while encouraging you to actively participate and truly understand the language. I typically use English for explanations and to delve into vocabulary, but quickly transition to speaking Spanish.
I am always on the lookout for new and exciting resources to make the learning process efficient, informative, and enjoyable. Let's work together and build a long-term, cooperative teacher-student relationship. Let me know if I'm the right fit for you!

Spanish Tutor (Jan, 2014–Dec, 2021) at ANGLO Language School
I've always felt passionate about languages and the superpower we are granted when we reach a conversational proficiency of our target language. I was a Spanish tutor at Anglo for almost 10 years, having the opportunity during that time of teaching live classes (group and 1-on-1 to teenagers and adults of all ages and going virtual when the pandemic hit.
I was also a tutor of English for Spanish speakers in this same school.
