Highly qualified English and standardized examination teacher with 6+ years in teaching middle and high school students as well as test takers for the IELTS and other standardized international English examinations. My teaching style is primarily tailored to meet the student's specific needs. I begin with an assessment and background questions to help me determine the student's level. Then I go on to ask why the student feels he or she has been doing badly. I also put into consideration the student's learning curve, understanding that students assimilate differently. Based on these information, I create a student-specific program. This method has made it possible to dramatically improve my students' scores.
For example, when I taught a non-English speaker the IELTS everyday for two weeks, I employed all of these techniques. She got a score of Band 7.5 at the end of the training and exams.
