A one-month internship. Covered the Departments of Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Preventive & Social Pediatrics and Medical ICU. The primary objective was to observe the doctors and work with the supervisors of the respective Departments in counselling Parents, focusing on the mothers and providing them with diet plans, in conformity with the disease/disorder. Focus was on dealing with breast feeding and malnutrition in children. A written and an oral exam was conducted at the end of the internship to test the knowledge of the relevant fields.
