    Covered MNTs of Weight Management, Diabetes, CVD’s, Anemias, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Pulmonary Diseases, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition, GIT disorders and Rheumatic Diseases, Thyroid Disorders, Pediatric Nutrition, Lung Diseases, Metabolic Stress and Neurological Disorders

    An 8-hour credit course (Hospital Based Nutrition Practice) in the final semester, under the supervision of the University of Lahore. Undertook various tasks related to the field, made the appropriate diet plans and counselled the patients according to the medical conditions of the patients. Covered the Medical Ward (males and females (M1&M2 – F1&F2), gynae ward, gynae OPD medical OPD, and Paeds.     Covered Medical Nutrition Therapy as a 3-hour credit course under the supervision of the University of Lahore.

  • Internee Nutritionist (Jul, 2019–Jul, 2019) at Children’s Hospital, Lahore
    A one-month internship. Covered the Departments of Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Preventive & Social Pediatrics and Medical ICU. The primary objective was to observe the doctors and work with the supervisors of the respective Departments in counselling Parents, focusing on the mothers and providing them with diet plans, in conformity with the disease/disorder. Focus was on dealing with breast feeding and malnutrition in children. A written and an oral exam was conducted at the end of the internship to test the knowledge of the relevant fields.
