I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don't lecture to students or ask them to memorize things. Nor do I do the students' homework for them! I want to make a real difference in children's lives. I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today. I believe that my greatest achievement as a teacher is being a wholesome person. A person who teaches and be able to be appreciated, listen too and valuable to the students who gain so much by learning what I have taught. Being wholesome, means a participant in the society or community that needed education and being a skilled teacher helps me to contribute my knowledge in a given task.
