I have attained my PhD in Plant Sciences from the University of Reading, UK, worked on the theme of plant ecology and conservation in the wake of climate change. My research interests include; Phytochemistry, Climate Change Modelling, Plant Ecology, Phytoremediation, Dendrochemistry and Biodiversity and Conservation. I have completed several research projects including a SEED Fund project at UDST, GIS projects with SERC and Earth Watch, projects with WWF and IUCN on themes relating to climate change and mitigation measures. I have also published various research articles in the domain of climate change, biodiversity, and phytomedicines.
Involved in teaching laboratory, lecture and tutorial lessons to UDST students since Aug, 2020, mainly in the domain of Biology, Ecology and Environmental Sciences. During this time, I have also worked on course design and development for the new university programs, collaborated on developing two courses, titled: Science and the Environment and Fundamentals of Ecology with the College of General Education. And Currently working on Courses titled: Introduction to Botany and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
