My name is Elena and I have been an English teacher for 14 years with the experience of living and studying in the USA for over 6 years. I particularly enjoy working with children and teenagers. They are the most challenging and the most wonderful students to teach because of their capacity of absorbing knowledge. I try to expose my students to as much of the British and American culture as possible as well as ground them in grammar and sentence structure. The English language and culture are not compatible with chaos so I prepare my students for writing correctly in order to allow them to pass appropriate exams. That being said, I teach them songs, rhymes and give them other fun activities to make studying interesting as well as useful. I have also worked with adults for the last 5 years and was able to break down their natural barriers of shyness usual in students of that particular group.     I usually charge children and teenagers 2000 tenge per hour. If an adult needs particular training, such as business or specialized vocabulary, then the price goes up to 6000 tenge per hour.
