I am Youssef Amr, an engineering student at Zewail City. I have been always passionate about STEM subjects. During my senior year of high school, I helped many of sophomore colleagues in Math and calculus. I also helped many of them get a decent rank in the IYMC competition.
Beginning from the second semester at college, I have been a junior teaching assistant in many courses, such as English composition, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, and Electromagnetism. Because of that, I have been awarded an honorary gift for helping and tutoring my colleagues.
My teaching style goes as follows: I begin by explaining the concepts of the chapter/topic and then successively solve exercises/drills with the student to make sure that all the information was grasped. I can tutor both online, using my pen tablet, or offline, at the student's house, with no preference. I can also help the students prepare for their final/midterm exams as well as helping them with homework and assignments.

    • Gave a full English lecture about rhetorical analysis under my professor's supervision.
    • Helped students during the public speaking part of the course by giving them tips and assessing them through speeches' rehearsals.

    • Was chosen from 100+ students to hold this credible position.
    • Mentored the new freshmen on capstone projects, helping them grasp the Engineering Design Process (EDP).
