I have over 20 years of experience in education teaching and management. I currently reside in Qatar.
For over 16 years, I was deeply involved in the set up and management of international schools in Muscat-Oman as well as teaching Mathematics for secondary students. With the International School of Choueifat, I started up with teaching Mathematics for Grades 10, 11 and 12 and subsequently handled the Head of Mathematics Department and Assistant Director for Academics roles.
With the International School of Oman, I have worked in multiple roles during the early years of the establishment, first as a Teacher and subsequently in a senior academic and operational role. This experience has led me to join Al Shomoukh International School (SIS), a new start-up school in Muscat, in the role of School Director.
At SIS, I was one of the first employees of the company setting up operations, human resources, and academic programs. Due to my efforts and expertise, the school headed on an upward path in terms of student enrolment and HR staffing reaching over 700 students and 100 employees in its 3rd year of operation. The field I particularly excelled at was incorporating Ministry of Education requirements into the school’s policies and procedures and rendering such requirements easily comprehensible to the diverse multicultural students and staff.
At the National Evangelical School in Nabatieh - Lebanon I was the Education Manager overlooking the implementation of the National Lebanese Programs, students' academic progress tracking, teachers' appraisal and professional development, school leadership involvement, and Primary School Mathematics and Sciences team coordination.
I love working with children and I treasure the opportunity of inspiring them to take an interest in something that will benefit them throughout their lives. I have worked with different curriculums including IGCSE, International Advanced Levels, IB, and AP.
