Hello Dear Students and Parents!!

This is Tejus BG from Bangalore. I have completed my engineering from IIT Guwahati. Mathematics has always been a very interesting subject for me since my schooling days. It was my love for Maths and a passion for teaching and helping others out that compelled me to take up this role of becoming a teacher. I have been teaching now for more than 2.5 years and have taught students from across different boards(CBSE, ISC, ICSE, IGCSE, State boards) and different countries(US, Canada). I have have guided students preparing for the various competitive exams like the JEE Mains and Advanced, BITSAT etc.

Having taught various students, I can say that if a strong foundation for Maths is laid in the early years of the student's academic life, he/she would go on to do very well all through their academic journey. Which is what I do with all my students. My teaching style has always been to start from the basics and build upon the concepts from there on. It does not matter what the aptitude of the student is when they come to me, I always make sure to make sure they understand the concepts rather than just remembering them.

I also emphasize a lot on practice because I firmly believe that Mathematics is something that anyone can get good at with the right guidance and an equal amount of practice. I take care of one of the aspects and encourage the student to do the second thereby creating a perfect learning combination. Once the students practice, I make sure we discuss their doubts and queries before going on to the subsequent topics.

Have also been a part of the Teacher Evaluation team where I had to act as a Student and evaluate the new incoming teachers with regards to their Mathematics knowledge and lucidity of explanation among other parameters and give them a constructive feedback to improve upon.
