My name is Alik, but I go by Alex. From my preschool years, I was immersed in both, American and Russian cultures. Although I'm a Russian citizen, I spent many years in America, mainly in the State of Washington. I was educated there; worked various jobs; had my own business; was married and sadly divorced there as well. My kids still live in the USA, where I, on the other hand, came back to Russia in 2019, and I've been teaching English online ever since.
I can help with accents, understanding slang, idioms, vernaculars, and modern, day-to-day English. My grammatical explanation is simple and fun.
