Director & Faculty: Vighneshwaran (Vocal & Mridangam)

Vighneshwaran is a disciple of the esteemed (Sangeetha Kalanidhi) Thiruvarur Shri. Bakthavathsalam studied under his tutelage for 16 years. He is an accomplished musician, proficient in Mridangam and Carnatic vocals, and works as an independent music instructor.

Vighnesh received training in Mridangam and vocals from several eminent Gurus, including Hanumanthapuram Shri. Bhoovaraghavan, Padma Shri T. K. Murthy, Shri. Shreyas Narayanan (Vocal), and Kalaimamai Delhi Shri. Sairam. He has won numerous music competitions at both school and college levels and has performed in many concerts across India and Singapore.

He has worked as a vocal and Mridangam instructor in prestigious organizations such as SYAMA, Beej Academy, and SIFAS (Singapore). Vighnesh has also studied Western instruments and continues to explore and experiment with various playing styles and genres in Mridangam.

Jayalakshmi (Vocal)

A senior disciple and the daughter of A.K. Ganesan (Violinist), She was under his tutelage for 15 years.
Jayalakshmi was trained in Vocal under several eminent Gurus such as Chengalpattu Shri. Ranganathan and Shri.V.V.Ravi.

Jayalakshmi is an accomplished musician – A Carnatic Vocalist, and an Independent Music instructor.
She has 35 years of experience as a music teacher and worked as a principal in the government Music College (Villupuram) and has an MPhil (Music) by qualification,
and currently, a full-time performing and teaching musician.

Nrithya (Dance)

An alumnus of the prestigious Indian dance institute, Kalakshetra (Chennai), wherein she also did her post-graduate studies in the dance form. she has taught and performed in various productions by Kalakshetra, as one of their principal artists.

Nrithya is a Recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and of the diamond jubilee fellowship from the Department of Culture (Kerala) for talented young artists.
She has received several awards, including the Shankara Menon Award by Kalakshetra and citations from the Kalakshetra Repertory Company, and she has won several classical and folk dance competitions.

Nrithya has performed in prestigious concerts hosted by Kalakshetra globally and in innumerable self-directed creative dance productions, having established her own dance production company.
