Hello, I'm Salman Usmani, Singer in A. R. Rahman Band.

With a deep passion for Hindustani Classical Music, I bring 17 years of experience in Teaching and Performing. My expertise spans various genres like Sufi, Ghazal, Sufi Qawwali and I specialize in nurturing vocal talent at all skill levels.

I have had the privilege of studying under the profound guidance of masters from the Patiala, Senia and Kirana Gharanas. My journey has been enriched by learning from revered teachers such as,Padma Shri Ustad Shamsuddin Khan, Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi, Ustad Shabbir Khan Gullu.

I have had the pleasure of performing alongside esteemed artists such as Javed Ali, Sana Mussa, Shiva Mani, Raja Hasan, Kartik, and many others. Additionally, I have participated in numerous shows across India and internationally.

Over the years, I've gathered a wealth of exercises, techniques, and insights that I use to help my students enhance their vocal abilities day by day. I customize my approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
I specialize in a diverse range of genres including Indian classical, Ghazals, Sufi.
