I'm Raquel Grace A. Parasan, a 22-year-old Filipino. A Bachelor's degree in biology graduate from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, and I am currently employed at our city's Doctor's Medical School as a Biology and Chemistry instructor. Specifically, I instruct nursing and medical technology students in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology, zoology, botany, and parasitology. I've been working in this industry for about a year, and throughout that time I’ve always prioritized doing laboratory experiments and developing education in an active learning environment. In addition, I take part in continuing education, general science, and chemistry professional development to support student learning, cooperative learning strategies, customized education, and a progressive release of responsibility. I am always passionate and eager to learn new skills. Our course curriculum requires us to complement the concepts and theories we have learned, to the development of our full potential, through exposure via actual fieldwork. "I understand that many individuals are frightened of public speaking, but I actually enjoy it and frequently use my speaking expertise to help group projects. For instance, I presented my experimental research on "Anti-venomous Analysis of certain medicinal Plants here in the Philippines against Snake Cobra bites" at my university forum in May 2023. As a result, I was awarded the Best Student Research prize, which I put on my resume and helped me get employed right away in my current position.
