I am a B.E.D (English/ Literature) graduate from Kenyatta University (Kenya) and a CELTA certificate holder from International House, Cape Town (South Africa). Currently, I am pursuing an online Master of Education in Advanced Teaching (with IB) degree from the University of the People, California.

I am self-motivated, a problem solver, hardworking, and a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills. I have knowledge of computers, generally, Microsoft office, PowerPoint, and online teaching tools, just to mention but a few. I am young, dynamic, creative and a very innovative individual. I have 10 years of teaching experience in international schools teaching international curriculums.

I am always willing to go the extra mile. My focus at work is on productivity and profitability and improving the quality of education. I have always wished to work in a busy institution that can tap my knowledge and creativity for the improvement of the organization and the society; at the same time nurturing and building me into an all-around individual as I develop my teaching career further.

    For the past five and half years I have been an English teacher at Flipper International School, Addis Ababa-Ethiopia, teaching IGCSE and AS/A-level students producing amazing results. I am also proficient in the British National Curriculum which was being offered in our school before we shifted to the Cambridge curriculum. At Flipper International School, I was also the Head of the English Department where I was charged with the responsibility of coordinating activities of the department from grade 1 to grade 12 as well as working closely with a team of 15 teachers. I was also a member of the Academic Team responsible for key decision-making in running the day-to-day activities of the school.
