I am also a student. So, according to me this thing make perfect teacher. Because who learn and teach at same time is good for teach other people. I taught math not only use copy and pencil I taught practicaly just like:
Introduce a new mathematical concept along with a formula or rule.
I use visuals images
Show and tell new concepts
Ask students to explain their ideas
Let your students regularly know how they are doing
Ask questions and listen
Empower students
Make slides
Motivate the students to think logically and make the learning environment more interesting
