    • Regularly update the teaching staff and students on any new development regarding nursing procedures.
    • Responsible for coordination and sourcing of placement areas for students upon graduation in liaison with the Chief Nursing Officer and Principal.
    • Liaise with College to coordinate placements of students and update senior nursing staff accordingly.
    • Demonstrate, supervise and assess nursing procedures both in the ward and class tutorials.
    • Working closely with the Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator to assess the training needs all Nurses and plan how to address these.
    • Clinical Conferences and Training;
    • Conduct clinical conferences with staff to facilitate skill acquisition and current nursing practice.

    • Plan and conduct Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCEs) on specified skills required to be mastered by the students before attending to patients.
    • Plan and coordinate Nursing Council assessments for students within the clinical placements.
    • Ensure that students fill in the skills taught and demonstrated in their practical/clinical log books.
    • Record actual work done week-by-week in regards to practical subjects and progress records of individual students clinical performance
    • Participate in mentorship programme and counselling sessions for students.
