My first try is to connect the theory with the real world so that the students understand the things and not try to memorize them forcefully.
Computer programming is such a thing that can come only through practice, so my focus only on hands-on practice.
Next day after I taught the concept in class, I get implemented through coding language, so it becomes revision and hands on practice.
This approach makes interactive session/class for students and students feels computer is our real life part The subject becomes interesting for the students and the fear ends.
