I create a self learning environment for students to evaluate themselves and to improve from there onwards. Each hour lesson comprises of spoken activities, teaching and exercises on various topics based on the need of the child. It could be an exam preparation, a routine class, or preparation for competitions and etc...
So far 90% of my kids have either got a distinction (A) or a good pass (B) in their exams. So far none my students have failed in English or Second Language Sinhala.
Without a doubt, I'm also learning from my kids and improving day by day. I create an atmosphere for both the student and the teacher to grow together as friends in the learning process, rather creating a gap between the students and the teacher.
I am a Jehovah's Witness who believe in God and want to please him in everything I do which includes teaching. Therefore, I want to give my best to the students and want to be honest with parents. I always strive to have a clean conscience before God and men. The desire to please God is the force that drives me in what I do. So I believe that I can help my students to achieve success with the help of my God, Jehovah.

    Full-Time volunteer. It involves teaching, training and handling administration. Was in the capacity of a director of a not for profit entity and responsible for public relations, and media coordination.

    Coordinates child development projects funded by Save the Children. In charge of organizing, preparing and conducting child development seminars for parents and children in coordination with the Department of Probation and Child Care.

    Class teacher for grade 9. Responsible for physical education, English, English Literature, Mathematics and science.

Fee details

    රු250–3,500/hour (US$0.85–11.95/hour)

    Fee depends on number of participants per hour and the capacity of parents. Minimum for those have little and then it varies according to the means of parents.
