My teaching style is appealing the the student in a manner that he stops worrying about getting grades or an assignment done and turns their focus to understanding the subject at hand and the concepts used to reach the solution.
I have been successful with many of my student shifting their goal from just passing this exam, exceeding their expectations and achieving better results.
I thing the key to being a good teacher is communication, if you are knowledgeable enough the rest goes to your communication skills to convey it to your students. Patience and understanding in a calm environment where the shared goal is to learn within a set of rules is the setting for my sessions.
