I like to interact more with the students that I will be teaching. I wouldn't want to be too strict with them to the point that they would feel obliged to study and not because they want to. Our first priority would be communication then learning, I want them to feel safe and be free to ask any questions they want. I would provide them with useful information related to the course we would be going through at the moment, and I woud try my best to finish the lesson with everyone understanding and happy with it.
