Math education is my area of expertise. When a potential student contacts me for assistance in this area, I first engage her/him with their consent to learn about their fundamentals. If it is sound, I progressively introduce the chapters that she/he feels comfortable beginning with. If the fundamentals or essentials required are inadequate, I initially assist him/her in mastering the principles. In this regard, I have had really positive experiences. My pupils are now professionals in science, medicine, engineering, chartered accounting, and business. I may be of assistance in acquiring complex mathematical ideas quickly because I have an advanced degree in actuarial science (CT-3 Applied Statistics).
