Vidwan D. R. Raghavendra
Hails from a richly cultured and traditional music family from Bangalore in Karnataka. D. R. RAGHAVENDRA is the son of Smt. Shashikala and Mridangam Vidwan D. R. Rajagopal (State Suvarna Rajyotsava, Central & Kempegowda Awardee) . He has been into this divine art from the tender age of 4years. He started his violin training under:

With the invaluable guidance Raghavendra gainind tremendous knowledge about the way of staging concerts, Manodharma and Arts. Raghavendra has to his credit of staging concerts in prestigious sabhas all over Karnataka & India . He is also a Scholarship holder of Kannada & Cultural Dept.,yrs 2012.

He performed a concert at the Rama Seva Mandali at Fort High School Grounds for the Ramanavami Festival in Bangalore . Raghavendra has performed in various sabha like raga sudha sangeeth sabha,Sanjaynagar sangeetha sabha, venugopal swamy temple, N.R. Colony Rama mandira,Hariharapura Mutt, even he has performed in divine places like Mantralya Dharamastala,Udupi, even performed in Gadag Utsav, Mysore Dasara Utasv etc…..

Have performed during important music festivals at various cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi,Chennai & many more city's .He as performed in many Audios And Cd’s : Featured in many Musical Album’s and Studio Live Recording Projects. He as Teaching experience of 10 years in home tuitions and he was working in renowned music institution across India as violin & vocal teacher .

He obtained high distinction and 1 st Rank in the music Examination (vidwath) held by the Karnataka state Education Examination Board (KSEEB).

He has accompanied several artists including Dr. Vijay Gopal (flute), Vidwan Sri R. K. Padmanabha, Vidushi Smt. M. S. Vidya,Vidwan Sri M. S. Govinda Swamy, Vidwan S Shankar, Vidwan Maruthi Prasad etc..

He was given the award “Promising Young Talent” for his solo concert in Hyderabad .
He is also a BOARD MEMBER for KSEEB Exam Board
