I am an Electronics engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science. I have worked as a Software Engineer for over 10 years. I am currently working at Codingal as a coding instructor. I was tutoring students on an online integrated platform comprising of Coding, Maths, English, Science and SEL at Lido Learning. I have imparted coaching on employability and soft skills to youth in communities and colleges for 2 years at Antarang Foundation (NGO). I have been informally tutoring students as part of my role at orphanages and from my years in primary school.

I find tutoring a rewarding experience. I understand how important it is to make the student feel relaxed which in turn helps them become ready to learn. I have a lot of energy and ensure getting acquainted with the curriculum in advance. I am adept at making the classes engaging, interactive and informative. I firmly believe learning coding and Math is fundamental for students to develop their computational, analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving aptitudes.

    Codingal is a coding platform and community for school students to learn Computer Science by building apps, games and websites. All classes are taught live online 1:1 by vetted and trained teachers with programming background. This is a part time position. Responsibilities include:
    ▪ Teaching coding in a fun and engaging way to students in grades 1-3
    ▪ Inspiring students to learn coding at a young age
    ▪ Assessing students’ progress, evaluate assignments and give constructive feedback

    Lido Learning is an ed-tech company that offers a unique and immersive online classroom to students. Students get a fun-filled experience through games, quizzes, and engaging content. The Headstart programme at Lido is an integrated course comprising Maths, English, Science, Coding and SEL for CBSE and ICSE Grades KG to 3. Responsibilities included:
    ▪ Facilitated conceptual learning through coaching and mentoring in batch size of 1:3
    ▪ Built relationships with parents as co-collaborators for all round development, support and retention
    ▪ Selected as one among 9 toppers for 100% renewal conversion of existing students and retention of new students on the platform.
  • CareeReady Facilitator (Dec, 2019–Jan, 2022) at Antarang Foundation, Mumbai, India
    Antarang Foundation envisions a world in which every young person is passionately, productively, and positively engaged in a career of their choice. Antarang works with youth (age 14 – 25) through its CareerAware and CareeReady programs. The organizations's primary objectives are to encourage students to stay in formal education for as long as possible, assist youth from disadvantaged backgrounds to bridge the gap between education to employability and launch themselves on the path to a fulfilling career. At Antarang, I imparted core employability and soft skills to youth in communities and colleges for transitioning to higher education, employment and training prospects through career counseling sessions.
