I am well versed in approaching Classical languages with varying methodology in order to sharpen personal language skills. My approaches include grammar-translation, sight reading, comprehensible input, and rote drilling, among other things. I focus primarily on ensuring that the student has a solid basis for growth, which may include deepening the student’s understanding of grammar in general. Likewise, I impart on students ways to approach new material so that they can independently and successfully tackle whatever they may chance upon in the future.

I have had great success in raising the ability level of beginner and intermediate students, and I hope you will find similar results.
