I graduated from University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka with a BA (Special) Degree in English with a second class lower division distinction. Currently I am reading for my Master Degree in Linguistics in University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. These have given me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role.

As a requirement of the university course, I worked as an Intern – Business Development Executive for Epsilon Crest (Pvt) Ltd. After that, I worked as the content writer at Web Lankan (Pvt) Ltd. Being the coordinator- undergraduate programmes at IIHE gave me the experience in the administration side of an educational institute.

Currently I am the Assistant lecturer (temporary) at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, USJP, with continuous experience in teaching English for students of Medical and Allied Health Sciences. Due to the current situation, I am very much experienced in online lectures using Zoom, and also in conducting online tests using both LMS and Google Forms. These positions have given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment.

As a student of literature, I have read, learnt and experienced in English Language as well as Literature of all eras, and I am able to bring the best for the students with my knowledge.
