One of the perks of academic life is the opportunity to interact with the young and bright students, most of whom are at the threshold of stepping into the real world. It gives me immense satisfaction and joy that I am a Doctoral Research Fellow and will have the privilege of taking part in the initial stages of my journey. It will be a platform for improving my own skills both in terms of expressing myself as well as being a great source of research ideas. Below, I describe in detail my experiences and ideas in teaching. My goal in teaching is to foster the acquisition of base concepts and learning skills to facilitate further learning and thinking. In all, course I guide students in the evaluation of evidence, critical thinking, arguments development, verbal and written expression, and the application of general principles to novel settings. These competencies will equip students for a broad range of demands in a future academic and occupational setting. The purpose of language Teaching is twofold: to develop communicating speakers of the language and to open students’ eyes to the cultures and worldviews. The motive of my teaching is to develop the learning of the Urdu language as well as facilitate an understanding of course content. All of my course contents are structured around three levels: The first one is Initial Level, Intermediate Level, and Advanced Level. The teaching method played a vital role in achieving the above goals, and teaching methods are the situation, guidance, direction, and encouragement for learning. The teacher is nuclear of all the learning that takes place in the class for ordinary subjects in general and language learning. I will adopt the different teaching methods, especially in the case of Urdu learning to ensure that the students get the most out of the learning session. I will use the three methods; the first one is an explicit Method for beginners, the second is an Implicit Method for intermediate, and the third is the Bottom line method for advanced levels. These methods will play the role of promoting the beginner student to intermediate level and intermediate to advanced level. These methods will be beneficial to students of all levels. I will not be dependent on the conventional methods, but the most important aspect of my teaching is digication, allowing individualized and templates based online learning like CANVAS (it is a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) that makes it easy for an instructor to manage digital materials, distribution assignment and course calendar communication grading and other aspects of the instructor for their courses). Other significant technique is a ‘Classroom Polling’ that Transforms classroom learning from start to dynamics by changing students from passive listeners to active participants who provide feedback and converse with peers and instructors. One more important technique is ‘Web Conferencing,’ which allows an instructor to connect to individuals and groups in virtually any location with an internet connection. This technique has a powerful impact on teaching and learning also. One more significant technique is the ‘Theater Technique,’ this technique for enhancing teaching and public speaking in both formal and informal environments. The above techniques are flexible resources where students and faculty can collaborate on developmental (projects-based), reflective (self-awareness and learning) or representational (showcasing) experiences. Digication can be used in the classroom and across the curriculum. As I have mentioned about Drama in my resume, which I have organized in the university. My uniqueness is that I can teach the Urdu language through Drama, and I will also use original text (newspapers, magazines, Letters, Diaries etc.). As I am also a good singer and poet of Urdu, I will input my all efforts of Urdu Poetry, Qawwali Ghazal, and songs that would be beneficial to all the students’ whether they are habitat or nonhabitat. I was an active student in the university; I have organized several conferences and seminars; because of these experiences of both the universities, these experiences would be benefitted to all the students. They will learn the management and the systemic work of any organization. In this method, as a teacher, I will use the central role and give them all the instructions, rules, vocabulary items, and grammatical structure to the students. The second method is Implicit Method, for the level of proficiency of Urdu learners is more than the beginner. Teaching South Asian languages to the student requires dedication, along with a smart approach to instructions; thus, when a teacher is also able to adopt the best methods of instruction, only then can a second language be effectively learned directly by the student.
