I am a dedicated Hindi teacher, looking to make learning Hindi more comprehensive, interactive and enjoyable. I have 15+ years of experience and have recently taught Hindi to US students returning to India. There, I devised challenging exercises that were fun, which the students found improvement in, and have also evolved as an efficient teacher in the process.

Teaching and interacting with children gives me joy; and seeing them ace at Hindi warms my heart. I like appreciating them for their little joys and achievements. Children feel more motivated that way too. I am always striving to go beyond the confines of a school syllabus by referring to the vast Hindi literature, its history and references from multiple other languages, making it more cohesive.

Languages are identity and experiences, not just an expression. And I want to make this complex process worthwhile and enjoyable!

    Started taking Hindi tuitions for children between classes of 2nd grade to 10th grade, both CBSE and ICSE. Will teach Hindi spoken and Written, with communication skills.
  • Hindi Teacher (Jun, 2012–Feb, 2014) at SRI PRAKASH VIDYANIKETAN, VISAKHAPATNAM
    Taught 5th to 10th Grade children, Hindi. Gave tuitions to children appearing for exams of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachaar Sabha, from Prathamika to Praveen. Children passed with flying colours - first class distinction results.
  • Hindi Teacher (Oct, 1991–Jun, 2006) at Various Schools
    Taught Hindi for classes 2nd to 12th over 10 years. Taught 11th and 12th grade students for three years at Sickle School, West Godavari. Made Hindi a fun and brightening language, one that everyone could learn and enjoy easily.

Fee details

    ₹400–750/hour (US$4.76–8.92/hour)

    Will collect fees as per each class. To be paid every week. Classes can/will be extended to 2 hours sometimes, but for the same fees. In some cases, minimum fees can be negotiated to 350.
