I am Rita Oku, a vibrant, young, intellectual who is very fluent in English Language and also have a B2 proficiency level in French having studied at Alliance Française and Village du Bénin in Accra and Togo respectively.
As a professional educator and language teacher, I am passionate about getting learners to excel in their chosen fields and to build proficiency and excellent communication skills not only for examinations, but also for life.
Using varied teaching methodologies, I create ideal learning environments by making lessons learner-centred, research-based and interactive, whether online or face-to-face.
I have experience teaching using online learning platforms such as Moodle and Canvas, and applying the flip class method.
I believe in hands-on practical lessons and engaging learners to give out their best both in and outside the classroom in real life situations.
This is manifested in marked improvement in proficiency levels and performance tests of my learners after their period of study and even at advance levels of education.
I have assisted people to build excellent Curriculum Vitae, undertake Project Work, write Long Essays and Dissertations.

    A teacher of Literature - in - English to Senior High Schoolers, making sure to explain concepts and terminologies well to the understanding of learners as well as developing interest in reading and appreciating literary materials. I also ensure learners are well prepared for examinations and for life
  • Language Teacher (Mar, 2022–Aug, 2022) at Alliance Française, Accra
    Facilitated the teaching and learning of English and French Languages to beginners and intermediate learners, both children and adults. Learners improved drastically in both their spoken language and performance tests in and outside of the institution.
