I have substantial experience in teaching and module leadership in various UK based higher education. I have acquired the necessary training and background experience required for this role.

I have a PhD in Economics, an MSc and a BSc in Econometrics. In my studies, I focused on both theoretical and applied strands of economics, finance and related fields. In all my degrees’ dissertations, I worked on topics of empirical and policy relevance such as the issues of modelling nonstationary time series in economics and using artificial intelligence methods to gender equality in labour market.

I have acquired a considerable teaching experience in an internationally oriented and multidisciplinary setting during in many UK based universities.

My approach to teaching is to make use of all available facilities, which includes online and e-learning technologies, to make material as accessible as possible to students without losing the core learning aims and objectives.

I often get positive feedback from my students. Here is an example of the feedback I received from some of the students:

"Dr. Malki was very helpful and supportive throughout the module. He took extra effort to help students understand the advanced concepts, and also to help students who had trouble understanding the basic but new concepts for the students. He is someone who can modulate this teaching style based on the level of understanding expressed by the students. That's an excellent character. He tries to explain from very basic when students found difficulty understanding advanced topics in this module. That's very appreciative!"
