A 21st century TRCN and Cambridge certified science tutor with 8+ years’ experience of making Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics fun. Gifted in demystifying complex scientific concepts into what a lay man can easily understand as well as developing engaging scientific contents using technological tools.

An engineering scholar and recipient of the prestigious PTDF and MTNF scholarships, who observed a sharp decline in science education in Africa and came into the scene for a rescue mission. Teaching became my dream when I came across science and engineering students who dropped out of school,not for a lack of inherent potential, but because of the fear of Engineering Physics and Mathematics.

My postgraduate degree research in education focused on the appropriate use of instructional materials in science education. This has shaped my campaign for the use of instructional materials in schools for a better understanding of science. My master's degree focuses on measurement and evaluation in education which aids me in curriculum design, measurement and evaluation.

My teaching method is inquiry-based learning using a well differentiated lesson plan. In my classroom, most of the topics are introduced using hands-on practical sessions in a collaborative manner. For example, in every practical session, there are four students per group with a group leader per week. Each group carries out an inquiry-based project and then presents their findings to the class subsequently. So they learn teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, public speaking and presentation skills in physics classes. I also introduce games into my lessons to make the learning experience fun because students learn best when they are relaxed and, in a playing-mode. I also make use technology to provide videos of instructional materials that are not readily available in the laboratory. To fully engage my students during presentation, live worksheets are also slotted in between well-prepared power point slides to fully engage students during presentations. All these make every physics class full of fun and my students always look forward to the next class.

I currently prepare students for IGCSE, WAEC, NECO and UTME Physics at Lead City International School, Ibadan, Nigeria with 100% pass rate. I also work remotely with different teams across Africa, UK, USA and Canada in developing highly engaging scientific contents geared towards upgrading students’ understanding of science and engineering.
