I'm based in Delhi. I majored in Sanskrit literature from LSR, DU with a minor in philosophy. I have a profound interest in the social sciences and literature and passing on that knowledge to eager students willing to learn gives me immense joy. I teach in a fun informal way using anecdotes, puzzles and presentations, I make sure to give the learner some visual aid to complement the written word so that the learner truly enjoys the subject and topic at hand instead of looking at it like a compulsory rote-learning assignment which unfortunately is what subjects like history are associated with. In addition to that I frequently test the learners so as to ensure that a strong foundation is being built. What gives me an edge, I believe, is the fact that I seek to build a rapport of mutual respect with the learner which further nudges them to comfortably express themselves, ask doubts freely and explore the multitude of nuances the subject has to offer.
