Am suitable for this role because of the following reasons
1) My academic Achievement: I had a cumulative CGPA of 4.63 on a 5.0 grade scale, and this made me graduated with a first class in mathematics education, in addition to this I won several awards on the convocation day such as best graduating student in the department of science education and overall best graduating student in the faculty of education.
2)Experience: In terms of experience, I have over 6 years experience in the teaching of mathematics for both British curriculum and Nigeria curriculum and I have a track record of producing students with A's in external examinations such as Cambridge IGCSE exams, IB, WAEC and NECO examinations.
3)Skills:I have many skills especially computer skills such as the use of Microsoft word, latex, maple and Microsoft power point, as I use this skills in delivering my lessons to students and this makes my class more interactive to students and interesting.
4)A psychologist: As a teacher, one is expected to be a psychologist I.e to be able to read students mind this will aid one's teaching, as when students mind are out of the scope of the class one should notice and call such students attention to it and if it requires seeing a counselor, such student can be refereed to a counselor for counselling
5)Extra classes: Students have different rate of assimilation. As a teacher I organize extra classes for class B students in my class, I engage in this because my priority is for my students to have excellent results.
6)A good role model: All schools have taught, have always been awarded the best teacher by the students because they love my method of delivery of the lessons, caring for them, motivating them to achieve more, I don't use foul languages on them and am always after their success
7)Multitasking: Am someone that multi task, at chaste intellect international school, I was the planning the lectures time table with my mathematical skills, member of examination committee, hostel coordinator, house masters e.t.c
This are just little of my qualities. If am given the chance at capital international school, i will work towards achieving the mission and vision of the school.
